ART STUDIO SPACE
For an easel painter, an art studio is important, its convenience and individuality.
My experience of studying and working in the studio-workshop of a Moscow artist-teacher at the Moscow Architectural Institute (at one of my stages of education, about 20 years ago), suggested that for an artist his own studio is a special energy space. Considering my multitasking abilities and personality, I have found that it’s more effective for me to paint at home, without going anywhere.
Therefore, several years ago I designed a separate office-workshop studio for myself next to the living area. I created a space where I like to think and work. The room is provided with by voluminous cabinets for storing art materials and objects for production, large panoramic windows and overhead daylight, as well as professional rotating lamps. I decided to design the room with a minimalist color scheme, so that the color of the walls would not distract from the painting tasks. The multi-year project was completed in 2022.

Another part of my studio is going on plein air sketches, when nature itself, along with my home and studio, gives me new impetus and appeasement. My art studio in my home, as well as going outdoor for sketches, is a place of solitude and concentration, self-immersion, a place of power, where I belong to myself and at the same time to the whole world.»
This helps me to constantly remain in my creative egregor and not waste time and energy on the road.
